I've seen that link before. That young man certainly has the 'gift'. I'm sure he has a bright future in the craft if he chooses to pursue it. It's a hard business to make a living in however.
Yes, The Pinkertons in America apparently all descended from two brothers who came from England in the 1700's. One of my Uncles was a long haul trucker and used to look up Pinkerton's in the phone book when he went to a new city. He found that many clans share a common history in that their great, great, great grand parent was an orphan out of Kentucky. We theorize that there was a large family and the parents died from some sickness or whatever in the mid 1800s and the kids just went to the winds.

Well since you are of English descent if you were able to trace your family tree back to the days of King Arthur and the Round Table
perhaps someone was a blacksmith that made armour!
