Today Jim K , my wife Sharon and myself attended the Wedding of Judy and
Jim Hupy in his home City - Salem, Oregon. A great quaint service in a
house fitted up for wedding.
Check out the GMC Classics Facebook for some pics.

Best Wishes to the Hupy's.

Ron, Dwayne posted those photos. We have not seen them either. I don't do
Facebook. When we see them later today, I will download them into my laptop
and post some onto the photo site.

After seeing the pictures of their wedding, I was inspired to write (rip-off, who am I kidding?) a lovely wedding song for anyone of us who has recently been joined in matrimony to a GMC. Sung to the tune of "Danny's Song"

PS- Congratulations and have a great life together!!

"RV’s Song"

People smile and but they know I’ve done something dumb,
And we've just begun.
I went and bought a motorhome
It will sit outside until my neighbors whine and moan, won’t leave me alone.
Dang it’s got plastic cones!

And even though we ain't got money,
I'm so in love with you, honey,
And everyday will bring a new surprise.
And when I’m on the internet
To order parts I’ll forget
How much it cost me and everything is gonna be alright.

Seems as though, a month ago, I was hanging out with GMCs,
Shootin’ breeze.
Underneath some maple trees.
And now, I smile and think about that motorhome,
And how I’m not alone,
Help as close as my cellphone.

And even though we ain't got money,
That’s a heck of an understatement, honey,
And everything will bring a chain of fun
And if I lunch my final drive,
Or heaven forbid my 455
You’ll tell me everything is gonna be alright.

Now I know two guys named Jim from separate coasts,
They don’t like to boast,
They’ll help you if your coach is toast.
I wonder things like “Are my tires Load Range E?”
“ZDDP?”
“How big a deal can airbags be?”

And even though we ain't got money,
The first time I sang it, it was funny
But everything I buy costs me big bucks.
And if my credit cards will hold,
And I can get my dash air cold
Then every-everything is gonna be alright.

I look over at my love in the swivel seat
She knows I’ll only cheat.
With that 6-wheeled thing parked in the street
And if you find that now’s the time you had one of your own,
More than a motorhome
Priceless friendships that are grown.

And even though we ain't got money,
Check out our new macerator, honey,
And everything will make our coach more fun.
And in the morning, if the Onan starts,
It’ll bring some joy to my heart
And I’ll know everything is gonna be alright.

With apologies to Kenny Loggins

Jim and Judy,

Congratulations and hopes for the best for you two. Yeah, I know it is a little late. Today is Ada's and my first anniversary.
Last year she wanted to hold the wedding on this date so we could have our honeymoon at Bean Station w/ the Dixielanders and then followed by the next week down in the Keys w/ the Sunshine Statesmen. Well, this past year has shot by and this week we will be cranking up again and heading to BS to be with about 120 of our closest friends. Wink
