I replaced the trans filter today and am a little worried about how loose it seemed to fit the case. I used a Wix 58882 filter and replaced the o-ring but it still felt loose. I have a Ragusa pan on it and don't know if it is supposed to support the filter or not.
Also, I added 5 qts of fluid which seems to be at least a quart less than I removed.I know the book says 4 qts and the pan is supposed to add an extra qt of capacity but it seems the PO had more fluid in it. I don't know if I can trust the dipstick readings.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,Hal
