I very carefully removed the aluminum strip at the roof edge to make an attempt to fine leaks. But the soft metal dis bend. Is there a replacement extrusion that can do the job?
Is this where the water comes from? It ends up in the inside moulding at hip height, but has nowhere to go so stays there until it evaporates.
The coach is completely gutted inside and ready for re-assembly.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think anyone has any replacement extrusions other than off of a parts coach, and getting them off can be hard without damaging the extrusion.

The leaks at the horizontal channel can come from the roof or from the side rub strips. If the coach is apart, I would recommend drilling holes, threading the channel to accept some hose barbs, and use some tubing to channel any water to underneath the coach. That way, even if a leak starts, it won't come into the interior. I think someone posted photos of such an arrangement at one time or another on the picture site.

Some of the leak points I addressed.

End caps of roof drip rails- underneath is a common joint for smc roof cap, cab side panels and wall panels. One side of mine was completely open 1/2" or so hole. Clean and fill that
All of the windows-
They all leaked between the frame and skin. Pulled all of them added corner pieces inside the over cut skin in several of the window opening corners and re set with window urethane.
Storage pod mounts-
Most leaked. Hard to trace some of them especially where the rivet holes found some of the interior framing as the water would make it through the skin, hit the framing and migrate. I surface plugged these temporarily until I build a better frame to hold generic pods like Thule
Rear cap-
Leaked down through the mounting screws where they penetrated the ledge of the side panels. Top sealed these from the inside and replaced the mostly missing foam rubber gasket with closed cell foam like for caulk backing windows and siding before caulking.
Cab cap to roof skin -
Leaked along factory joint. Cleaned old sealant out of the joint from the outside, replaced rivets with closed end rivets then built up large bead of seam sealer to cover joint and rivets just before paint. 3m 08370.

Smc side panels of nose-
Leaked at the vertical joint with smc skin as well as the top corner under the aluminum belt molding( under the rubber decorative molding 77 royale). Removed aluminum belt molding and re bonded smc panels back together. Filled corner with 3m 08370.
Fuel filler pocket-
Leaked through filler neck flange to side panel( inside the pocket) as well as gas door hinge and magnet fasteners. Removed gas door and filler neck, panel bonded polycarbonate block to the inside of the panel and drilled short of penetrating back of block and sm screwed parts back in place. Replaced gasket between neck and pocket

Fridge roof vent -
Leaked everywhere. Same issue with penetrations that hit framing as roof pod. Replaced vent cover and sealed between skin and vent, top sealed rivets with 3m 08370 and ran a bead all around flange where it touches the roof skin.

Sure I've forgotten others :/
