I just finished this project explained in this thread on the Alfa forum.

Drove the car to work for the first time today.

Had to back it out past the motorhome to leave the house (GMC content)

Very cool project. I recently unloaded my '85 Alfa Spider Veloce - I figured I already had too many projects, and that one (even though it was a driver) was just taking too much time. I also didn't think it would ever be worth any real money, making keeping it as a collectible an iffy proposition at best.

(apologies Neil, just a quick reply to kingd and I'll be quiet)

Ahh, the Mk 11 such a great vintage racer. My Merlyn Mk 31 is not nearly as rare and was the last of Merlyn's FF line. It has some modified bodywork, radiator in front, etc. Nothing like 'em!! And it will be nearly period correct to pull behind my '76 Eleganza II once I get finished with the fuel tanks and lines and finish the rest of the "since I'm here" tasks. I'm starting to think my GMC was made by Pandora...
