After 1250 miles of white knuckle driving and praying for every pedestrian and bicycle I passed on the way to and from Dothan I am going to put on new lower control arm bushings, can see that the ones on it now are squished to one side. I remember someone posting about using a floor jack to support the lower arm popping with hammer to get it free from the ball joint verses using the pickle fork. Best I can tell the ball joint is not original, has bolts not rivets, and is ok. Just trying not to damage it or the seal. Any suggestions or comments.
Thanks
