Dan
it was so cool to see one of or our "traditional" vendors like
Mac and Shirley
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/dothan-spring-convention-2013/p48214-mac-and-shirley-mc-neal.html

sure would have been good to see their products (or handouts)

They have been a part of our GMC lives for so many years

glad they are still out there (but not well acknowledged)

Gene,

Gary Berry asked me to video the vendors at Amana OFF NET and I said I would. Unfortunately I got so damn busy helping with the
windshield install, moderating three presentations and making two, cooking omelets with Ken Frey, serving ice cream and other stuff
I never got around to it. I apologized to Gary and noted I'd try again at the next convention I attended.

Gary sent in an email to the GMCnet asking someone to video the vendors at Dothan. I was able to attend and decided I would try and
fulfill my promise.

I began videoing the vendors at their tables with my Samsung Galaxy II but it was hard to catch them there. The videos must be taken
early in the week as items get sold. I got about 30% of the vendors filmed and realized that I probably wasn't going to be able to
get them all and if I did not video all of the vendors it would not be fair to ones that did not get videoed. I videoed Manny's
braking system but when I began to hear comments that he had copied JimK's reaction arm system I decided that there was no way I was
going to get involved in that situation I decided not to continue or publish the videos I had taken. I apologized to the vendors I
had already filmed and explained why I decided against publishing the videos. On top of this I ran into a technical problem, each of
the videos were MASSIVE files and they were in mp4 format and I did not have a program on my Acer notebook that I could edit them
with.

Regards,
Rob M.

Gene, those are two of the nicest folks I have ever met. Teri and I don't get to see them very often. Last time was about 3 years ago at an Eastern States gathering in Georgia. They stay busy after moving from California to NC.
I tried to give equal "coverage" but am sure I missed some vendor, here or there. Often when I would go to upload the photo I would find it blurry as I was always on a run trying to get stuff done. No doubt this has been the busiest convention for us yet. Branson is going to be more laid back for me, if possible.
