Dothan made me realize how fun it is to get these coaches together. Roger Black had suggested a local "lunch bunch" each month and I'm expanding on that idea. This is also very affordable. Seven Points is a Corps of Engineers campground on Percy Priest Lake outside of Nashville. Its our favorite campground as it allows us to take our boat with us. It books up months in advance. Fortunately, there are 7 sites available for the weekend of May 31st-June 1st. They are either right next to each other or in close proximity. If you think you want to join us you will need to book quickly. The cost is $20.00 per night. They do not have wi-fi but I will have my mobile hot spot you can access. If this is successful, we will try to do it again at State Parks. I work for the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation and can facillitate this. Again, book quickly or those sites will be gone. You can always reschedule if something comes up.

Hi Joe,

I will definitely try Defeated Creek. That sounds excellent. If you like to camp your a welcome to pitch a tent on my site at Seven Points. It won't cost you anything.

We'll be headed out to Cody, WY and then to Gillette, WY for the FMCA
convention otherwise I'd sign us up, if you allow has beens. Working
something out for Henry Horton at another time and we'll make it by hook or
crook. That would make a nice spot for a fall gathering since no lake is
near. Percy Priest is a great draw, of course. I hope it works out well. By
the way, we also like Cedars of Lebanon. Again, no lake but great trails for
a fall walk. Handy to the hometown of Cracker Barrel though CB#1 has since
been vacated in the great Wal-mart way (aka, build bigger just down the
block). I also hope you can pull in some of the guys on the north side of
Hotlanta.

The family and I are heading up to Pigeon Forge that weekend for camping and meeting up with some old friends. Otherwise I would have tried to make it. Love those Corps of Engineer campgrounds. Always well maintained.

Great response folks. We will definitely do others. Henry Horton State Park is a must and we could do an outing to the Watertown Drive In Theatre while staying at Cedars of Lebanon .

Joe,

Anytime Saturday afternoon would be fine. My son may have a hockey game early that morning but otherwise we will be there. Someone has also suggested Cedars of Lebanon which is very close to you.

Only 5 sites left at Seven points on these dates. If you have children or grandchildren to bring Nashville Shores Waterpark is about 3 miles away. We can try to get you tickets to that, Country Music Hall Of Fame or The hermitage-home of President Andrew Jackson. I will have my boat with me and promise a tour of our lake.
