Gene,
Not only will I be shooting videos, I will be one of the presenters.
I will also be bringing an excellent set of OEM knuckles, and a set of
1-ton knuckles to the flea market/swap meet. The GMC Jetsetters have an
excellent set of club owned tools that may be for sale. A very
professional built engine hoist. A Thoma bearing service kit with seal
tool. The jig for drilling the knuckle for the grease zerk, and two
torsion bar unloader tools. I also am selling a virgin core 403 long
block, and the 455 I removed from my GMC (while running) and a completely
remanufactured set of J heads still in shrink wrap from Cylinder Head
Services in San Diego.
This should be a good rally as the location is great. We have our annual
Christmas Toys for Tots rally at this resort and they work hard to make
your stay enjoyable. Tons of stuff to do very nearby and an excellent
casino for the gamblers among us. The park has a 10 star restaurant on
site with 70's prices.

Hi - I am wondering if you have put prices on the equipment that you are taking to the rally? I will not be attending so I decided to inquire. I might be interested in the Thoma bearing service kit, the jig for drilling zerk fitting holes in the knuckle, one of the torsion bar unloader tools, and the cost of the remanufactured heads.
Also, what is in the club tool set and what might the price tag be for that?

Thank you

Les, I will post the prices after I get input from the remaining club
members who haven't opened their recent emails. The heads and engine will
go as a package, not separate. The package is $375, engine and heads.

So far, no takers on the knuckles and my offer to help revive paint on some
volunteer coach so it looks like I'll be traveling light to the rally.

Hi - I would like to have a spare motor, but my 2-car garage and shed do not have room. Maybe later.

Good to hear you and Freddi are making the rally Frank. Just bring the
coach, I'll bring the compounds, buffers, and sealant. I hope it's a
decent repaint. Some of those cheaper (Maaco, Earl Shibe, one day) places
use enamels that dry out completely in a very short time. I was hoping for
an original painted coach but will take what I can get.
Tell Freddi that if there's an opportunity, I'd sure like to hear her sing
Unchained Melody again.

The cricket is one of the more "needier" coaches I've seen out there Gene.
Why aren't you showing up in a coach?

but now I am ready
doing the s-10 truck canopy first.
then the 23 roof-front
then the whole 23
then "grasshopper"

wonder if this will fix clear coat pealing ?

wonder if we should do this at Coos Bay rally ??

Gene,
There is only one "fix" for clear coat and that is paint. Once that stuff
starts, it never ends until it is repainted. The new paint technology is
so much better that just a few years ago.

I will be at the rally and bringing a few things to sell.

I have a new (Unused) aluminum intake manifold. $500

Also, I have two Blue Ox Aventa II tow bars. One is $250 and the other is $275 (the second one has all the safety cables, electrical cord and cover).

One torsion bar unloader $75.

Message me in advance if you want to for sure buy them and I will hold them for you.

Looking forward to a good time!

As an after thought I loaded up on a bunch of LED's for the interior lights of the GMC and will be bringing them to the rally in Amado.

These are not the Chinese units but rather are made right up the road from me here in Mesa, Arizona.

They are voltage protected up to 30 volts (they don't get destroyed with an engine start or a voltage spike).

Will also be showing some other LED bulb replacements.

One is a replacement for the refrigerator bulb. You have to see the difference in the fridge to believe what an amazing difference it makes. The pure white light makes it appear that my food is cold even if the fridge isn't even running Smile

Another seems off topic, but is a replacement for the bulb that comes with sewing machines. Both of these items are exclusive and not available from anyone else.

$15 each for the GMC bulb replacements. Expensive, YES. Worth it? DEFINITELY Smile

As an after thought I loaded up on a bunch of LED's for the interior lights
of the GMC and will be bringing them to the rally in Amado.

These are not the Chinese units but rather are made right up the road from
me here in Mesa, Arizona.

They are voltage protected up to 30 volts (they don't get destroyed with an
engine start or a voltage spike).

Will also be showing some other LED bulb replacements.

One is a replacement for the refrigerator bulb. You have to see the
difference in the fridge to believe what an amazing difference it makes.
The pure white light makes it appear that my food is cold even if the fridge
isn't even running :)

Another seems off topic, but is a replacement for the bulb that comes with
sewing machines. Both of these items are exclusive and not available from
anyone else.

$15 each for the GMC bulb replacements. Expensive, YES. Worth it?
DEFINITELY :)

I am bringing the "B15 Base" single pin. This fits most of the lights in the GMC including the Porch Light.

The ones I am bringing are new and I have not offered them before. They are dual flat strip units so that 100% of the light is directed towards the lens.

I love LED's and can't wait to show off the new stuff Smile
