Was on my way in to work this morning about 10 miles south of Birmingham on I65. Saw a coach southbound, Palm Beach colors, figured it was headed for Dothan. Mind you, this was 5 minutes before 7 a.m. CST, so someone must have had an early start. Happy and safe travels to all on the road and I'm looking forward to putting more faces to names and meeting new folks when I arrive Saturday a.m.

Thanks,

Jeremy,
There are about 15 coaches on site this morning. Mostly people here to help set up the rally and get everything assembled. There are a few early, early birds but today the coaches will start arriving in larger numbers. It is surprising how many come early to renew old friendships and help also. I used to come to the rallies at the dates listed, but found out that most came 2 or 3 days early.

If I didn't have to work I'd be there early as well! The early start I was referring to wasn't someone heading to Dothan today, it was to the 6:55 a.m., on the interstate at full cruise, nice surprise of seeing a GMC. That's a bit early for me to be on the road when I'm not going to work! Usually I see a lot of motorhomes and campers of all kinds on my way in and out of work surrounding the Talledga races, but that is the first time I saw a GMC and it was a pleasant morning surprise.

Last time convention was in Dothan I saw more than a few coaches northbound when I was coming home from work in the afternoon, but no one southbound on my way in.

Either way, this week is working out to be a long one for me in anticipation of my Saturday arrival and I do appreciate the work the officers and others put in setting up and preparing for these events.
