A while back Armand mentioned he bought these push knob latches for $3.00(?) each. Does anybody know where they were purchased and were they any good?
In that I need at least 15 of them, I want to get it right.

As Gene did, I bought them on eBay and they were $3 each at the time. Now there is only one guy selling them (looks like an identical latch) and he want over $22 for them. I googled "whisperlatch" and found some other suppliers but cheapest was $11.

If you want to see what I did look at http://minniebiz.com/gmcmotorhome/?p=1197

Peter,
The latches that Gene F bought are a dynamite buy if you can find them at $3. It will be difficult to again find them at that price. As Gene G has said they can be bought from rocker.

The rocker units are real brass push buttons.
West marine also carries several styles at a much higher $$$ price.

Why do you need 15 latches? There are other type latches that are available to keep doors and drawers from opening that are much less expensive and take less work to install.
