If you really need hookups I would suggest Mayflower park it is about a mile and a half north of the KOA (Riveria) and 10 or 15 bucks cheaper a night both are on the river it is a Riverside County Park we spent a month and a half there. As far as needing a heating blanket? It is likely around 90 degrees there now in the day time, I didn't need heat at night when I was there 3 weeks ago? The gas is real expensive there and about 60 cents or so cheaper just 3 miles across the river at Flying J. in Arizona. Quartzite should be pretty empty January is the busy time there its too hot now.
