Door widening project. Out side all painted. Ramps going in. One inside, one going on the outside. Checked for power coming out of panel between rear twin beds. That's OK. Vac plug on right, OK Panel next to vac, dead. Any ideas? 319-521-4891 or e-mail Bob Dunahugh

Many, perhaps all, coaches had a romex wire running IN A GROOVE cut into the floor from the outlet in the sidewall behind the driver to the outlet under the dinette. Bad design, easily damaged, possibly cut in your mod?

If your talking about the gap between the floor and the first vertical wall of the engine bulkhead that " groove" is there cause the sheets of plywood are not wide enough to make it all the way to the bulkhead when butted together starting at the rear.

This is a slot cut into the floor running across the coach a couple of feet forward of the door. It is there just to carry the romex from side to side.

Not that mine is different but my 110 ran from drivers side outlet up across the ceiling between the front fiberglass headliner and back headliner down to the wall outlet.

I would think Coachman and GMC took different approaches. Make sure all the breakers are controling something. In other words plug a lamp into each outlet and flip and mark all the breakers. That way you lnow alll the breakers are good. and start tracing back from the outlet

My 1977 Kingsley did not have any slots in the floor. The power to the side of the dinette on the passenger side ran across the ceiling and down to the plugs.
