Anyone noticed a bargain on a portable ice maker? I got the 3 year warranty on this one and it has died. Think I will buy 2 this time, one to stay in GMC and one to stay in the house. Hollar if you see a bargain in the next little while.

A while back Woot.com had a re-manufactured one for something like $60. It's a daily deal site, so probably not out there now. But, I read through the comments and someone mentioned that Best Buy has a liquidation site that was only $10 more. It looks like it's $80 now, but probably still not a bad deal. It sounds like they are kind of disposable, which is part of the reason I haven't gotten one yet.

They also had this one, for more money, but cooler looking. (Haier brand Chi-com, but the other one is probably made there as well, $100) Danger - ridiculously long URL coming . . .

Thanks Craig. I may go with the Best Buy unit. Id like to be able to get a warranty on it. Refurb may not let me get a SquareD warranty.
