If anyone is in the North Central Arizona area, and is interested in attending a Saguaro Jetset rally, we are having one at Distant Drums RV Resort <http://www.distantdrumsrvresort.com/> from Thursday, 3/14 to Sunday 3/17.
I'm not sure how many have signed up, but there is probably room for a few more. Sign up at <http://www.gmcsj.com/category/event-rally/>
There is lots to do and see in that area, centered in one of the most beautiful parts of the state.

Gary Worobec will be there. I think he mailed his reg in yesterday. I'm
kind of thinking that maybe Jerry and Sharon Work will show up. They
installed a slightly used Lamey 455 in their coach two weeks ago at
Miguel's.

It's a nice one. 
Sorry Guys, It came down to a lifestyle thing. Wifey was kinda tired of 8 years of dicking around with the GMC and when it broke down on our last trip, that was it for her and to add insult to injury, right after installing an $1,100 3 way fridge.
I now have a 2010 Nomad 24 Ft Aluminum Frame Trailer without a slide and a perfect floorplan That is 1000 lbs loaded weight below my max tow capacity of my truck It made sense.
I'm at the height of my RVing season (winter-spring) and the decision was made. Our RVing consists of three day weekends, 60-200 miles from home, not weeks (months?) long trips across the continent where a Motorhome would be ideal. I have a comfy new-ish truck to tow it with that has 293 HP, 300 lbft of torque, AWD, four wheel disks, and fully framed with a newly installed trailer brake controller.
I nearly pulled the trigger on a $20K 1996 Safari like John and Steve have, but even though nice, it screamed project to wifey.
I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with the GMC yet. Have too much invested to sell cheap, and need to spend some $ to sell it for what it is truly worth. I may share it with friends who are willing to invest time and some money so they can come along too.
