I'm not good at these kinds of notes so I'll just post excerpts of the note I received from a GMCer who doesn't post here.

Hi Ken,
I got a call tonight from Kim Dieckmann (wife of Mark).

Mark & Kim attended the Duquion Rally in 2010. It was their first rally. Mark was a big guy with a sore shoulder. He also came to our work rally here. Anyway his wife gave us the bad news that Mark passed away on February 2 (which was his 57th birthday). Four months before that he had a heart problem and has been in the intensive care unit of the hospital ever since then.

She asked me to put the word out, that she needs to sell his motorhome. It is a 1973 Painted Desert. (TZE063v102763)
She lives in Collinsville, Illinois which is a suburb of St. Louis. Her cell phone is six-one-eight 52zero-7694

She is still upset over his death. Could you please post this on the net to get the word out about the motorhome.

Sad event. I hope he is resting well on his last Great Rally.
