I don't know exactly what you're looking for but I'll respond.

As you've seen from other responses (as well as a vendor), you can get vinyl cut at a lot of mom & pop sign shops. The problem is getting what you want cut. That's one problem. The second problem is having good, clean artwork to go from. Scalable vector artwork has an advantage over .jpg, .gif, .tif, and other bit-mapped file formats. They don't scale up or down well. The do scale down but it's easy to loose the aspect ratio and then the final product doesn't look satisfactory.

Most places want the art in .ai or .eps format. Some will take .pdf if and only if the source of the art was scalable vector. Another format, less common, is .svg which is an old standard. It stands for "scalable vector graphic."

As you know, I happen to have a lot of vector images. The GMCers.org window decal (if decal is the right word) is based on my work. Terry Taylor has most of the model names from me. They're available in vector format.

Since no one wants to pay much for work, I make the files available at low cost to nearly free. Of course, I charge for the paint schemes. Some cheap types on here think I charge too much and some who value quality think I'm really cheap.
