I was contacted by the owner of this 73 Painted Desert to sell it. It is located near Clinton, SC.
He answered an add I had in craigslist for a GMC Motorhome or GMC parts.
The owner tells me in emails that the coach is complete but has not run or moved in over 15 years.

I have tried to upload pictures but tells me files are to large and not puter smart enough to change them.

I am not in the postion to purchase and have it moved at this time.

Anyone interested let me know and I can give you contact info and pictures. Just send me your email. toyomojoe@live.com

Asking price $1250

If anyone buys it for a parts coach.. I sure could use a couple parts..lol

Looks like a prime candidate for a full resto.

Good price. There's a 73 Painted Desert right here in town (Poulsbo, WA) that I decided to take a pass on and they wanted $7500.

Whoa - you had to be brave to take that photo with the speedometer pegged at 120mph. And that custom steering column (with the key on the left) would be just the trick for left-handed drivers! Twisted Evil

the key on my gmc is to the left,
that is on ever upside down picture i look at.
tail end is not dragging, so atleast for pics the bags hold air(or blocked up)
i have seen pics of worse looking coaches.

There was a project 23 foot Avion for sale in North Carolina. At the time, he wanted to much for it's condition. I have no idea if it had sold. If you are really interested, I could look for a phone number.

Here are some pictures I posted at the time:

I just noticed that the phone number under the photos... Confused

As there wasn't many made, it would be good to see it go to someone who would treat it well and keep is some where close to stock.
