Just ordered parts to rehab my rear suspension, anyone know if you can still drop the tanks with the reaction arm torsion bar in place?

From what I saw in Amana, NO.
Now, sway bars. that is a different issue and I don't have any to look at.

Drop the bars, 4 screws on each bar

Yes you can. I did mine last summer, using Matt Colie's system.(slightly
modified)
No real problems to speak of.

OOPS....
No, the brake arms are completely clear of the fuel tanks.
It is late, and I was thinking you asked if the brake arms would get make dropping the tanks more difficult - Sorry.

And, my improved method for handling the tanks is just to use the 10$ (perpetually on sale) cargo straps from HF to lift the tanks back into place. They seem to come down just fine......

I can't remember all the details, but it involves using a couple of 1"
ratchet binders attached to the crossmember behind the
tank, allowing one man to lower and raise the tank. Simple but effective.
