Holy moly, Batman. I really thought I was looking at a photoshop job at first. But it's for REAL.

OTOH, at that price, I suspect either Jay Leno will scoop it up, or it might be a while before another collector with deeeeeep pockets, lots of safe storage space, and oddball tastes will swoop in to pick it up. But I have to say, if I had a few million bucks sitting around that I didn't know what to do with, I'd be scheduling an inspection trip... wow. Just wow.

Well it appears I am at again. I just bought a 1975 glenbrook. Engine
is out and being rebuild. I have a new tranny coming from Manny.
Looking into the one ton front end. Can any one give me the pros and
cons of this update.
I am looking for a refrigerator as the previous owner took it out. Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Also looking for a set of Alcoas.
Thanks

Did you buy the Glenbrook that was listed on the El Paso Craigslist? Seized engine? I was looking at that rig as well. Ended up finding a 77 Royale in pretty good shape (I hope).

I'm in the process of moving to El Paso from Washington State. Should be in El Paso sometime mid to late April.

I'm pretty much the FNG when it comes to GMC motorhomes but my research says the 1 ton front end is a gotta have upgrade. It's definitely on my list. I've read the install procedures and I feel it a bit out of my skillset to do the install. At least at this point in time. I'm keeping my stock rims until the next tire replacement (current tires only have 5K).

Sorry to contact you this way but your profile is set up not to accept PMs.

Good morning from sunny and warming up El Paso.
The coach I bought was indeed listed on craigslist in el paso. She was
too good a bargain to pass up. Body is perfect and interior needs a bit
of upgrading. Engine indeed was seized but no big deal. I also have a
1976 Palm beach with all the upgrades and she is my primary coach. We
have a small group of GMC owners in El Paso and we normally work on our
coaches at my shop. Give me a call and would be glad to visit
