I have the door jam out. Not to bad a job if you put a lot of though into the planning. Kerry Pinkerton gave me some good input. ( Thanks Kerry ) As far as ground clearance. I have had ramps under the coach since 2008 with no problem YET. The next ramp is going to be about 1 inch closer to the ground. I'm going to get an alum ramp that is 34 inches wide and about 7 or 8 ft long. It's going to stick out about the same distance as my step under the door does now. That way I will still have a step for my use when the ramp isn't deployed for her. We have a Chevy Uplander with a ramp that unfolds, and comes out. That type of ramp just will not work here. As far as using the air bags to lower the coach. With the length of ramp planed. That just will not be needed. Her chair was vary expensive. So going up any ramp really isn't a problem. If anyone wants to see some photo's. Let me know. Bob Dunahugh. Anyone have a bucket of super glue ( GRIN )

Bob, I too would love to see the photos. Although I will likely never (hopefully) have a reason to widen the door on my coach I'm still VERY interested in everything GMC and the mods that others are doing.

Please post your photos, and comments re the photos, on the GMC photo site for all of us to enjoy.
