Marilyn purchased a new toilet to install in the GMC. Install seems very easy. Only question, how do you remove the THETFORD that is OEM? I do not see any mounting bolts, but they must be there.

Tom,

Here's a link to the Thetford manual with pictures.

http://www.bdub.net/manuals/thetford-toilet.pdf

I installed an Aquamatic Plus with a ceramic bowl last summer in Double Trouble and after removing the Thetford I discovered I'd
have to rotate the flange to match up with the mounting holes in the new toilet.

I had already sent that file to Tom. That is one of the files I gave to Billy a few years back.

Hi All:

We have a Rear bath Royale so the toilet removal is a difficult thing. Before we had Jim Jim Kanomata and Nick Gutierrez install the marine head (mascerator) to ilet in our coach, I replaced the center (blade) section in the old plastic "stink pot". I used an internal ratchet socket on the fron t nut and a flexible extension drive socket on the rear nut and had it out in 15 minutes. Note: this was after about an hour of trying without the proper tools and only one wrist on each arm.

The new porcelain throne is installed. Thanks to Emery and those who responded. The location of the nuts is well hidden. Once you know where to go, it is a very quick job.
Anyone want a fully functional OEM toilet? I'll bring it to Dothan.
