The GMCWS Spring 2013 rally signup and schedule are now posted on the gmcws.org web site. The rally will be in Amado, Arizona at the DeAnza RV Resort.

Amado is a very small wide spot on the road between Tucson and Nogales, Mexico. It is about 40 miles south of Tucson and just north of historic Tubac Village - a very interesting artsy community - on Interstate Highway I-19.

DeAnza RV Resort has a large clubhouse with lots to do. A heated salt water swimming pool, hot tub, shuffle board courts, darts, ping pong, bocce ball, horseshoes, billiards, exercise room and pickle ball and a nice community fire pit.

We have lots of activities planned and hope to see lots of you there.

Armand is underselling this location a bit. We (GMCSJ) have an annual
Christmas rally here. The park and it's employees are extremely
accomodating. They serve a teriffic breakfast and dinner on Fri and Sat
and often have free, live entertainment. Good 'pickin and grinnin". For
those with a taste for casinos, one of the largest in AZ is just down the
road a couple of exits. For those who like art colonys, Tubac is just down
that same road a few exits in the other direction. The cheapest fuel,
diesel and gas, is in Tucson on your way in, or on your way out. The
indoor pool and jacuzzi are heated, salt water and great for toughening up
thin skin. Nothing in the park is more than a few short steps away and
there's even a nice billiards room in the clubhouse, as well as several
rooms for simultaneous activities. All, nicely furnished. Large pet area
and for explorers, there's tons of lore in the area and even a partially
restored mission. For those who like to get off the main roads in their
trackers, Carl Stouffer will be there and he knows where all the hard to
get to stuff is (like the back of his hand).
This is a great rally site, hope you are making plans to be there.
