Just a note for the future:
This forum consists of two independent systems. They work so well together that many do not realize the differences. (A fact that still amazes me... )
If one has an issue, normally the other is still working.
So... If your method has a problem, you can still get your GMCnet fix by using the other method.
If you use the email list, and the list goes down, you can go to <http://gmc.mybirdfeeder.net/GMCforum> Log in with the the same name used by your emails... and you are "golden!"
If, like me, you normally use the on-line forum, it is a little harder. I keep a "throwaway" email address (gmail.com) just for messages from the mailing list. If the on-line forum crashes... I just log on the that gmail address and keep up fairly well.
That method has several other advantages (automatic archive, better searching capabilities and the like) but requires a small amount of maintenance. I just log on from time to time and mark all the message as read and move them into a "old" folder.

Mike, I kinda use the word "net" out of context. I am guilty of short cuts
because I was educated rather early in my participation on the GMCnet by
making my posts too detailed. (long) Several were too large for allocated
space and were kicked out. So I adjusted to a condensed version. Sometimes
at the sacrifice of clarity. Add in the spell check in my phone and it gets
worse.(grin)

Jim,
While replying to your message, I was mostly addressing others on the list. The message is: "You do not need to go through withdraws if one system stops working."
"...two interdependent systems." Did _I_ type that? They are
"two INDEPENDENT systems." (Da#n spell checker... should know what I meant... not what I typed!)
I updated the on-line version... an advantage to THAT system.
