I just noticed that my fuel and temp gauges were not working and upon a little further research I discovered about 1/2 the fuse panel in the glove box does not have power. I checked the red wires coming in ot he outside half of the firewall block and I think those are probably ok but no power on the inside. My guess is that its a 2 piece firewall block and if i pull it apart i can clean some contacts or somethign to get power back. Anyone had trouble with this?

I dont have a lot of time to diagnose and repair it tonight and was just looking for a heads up as to what it might be. Been playing with this old gmc for 30 years and i dont ever remember having to mess with the 12 volt fuse panel in the glove box for problems other than a blown fuse once in a blue moon.

Sean
