Mike,
That looks like a great deal for someone, if it has not sat too long.

What I am quite unable to understand is that the price of an old restored Airstream pull camper begins at $35,000.00 per a TV program I watched last night, and these beautiful, truly classic old GMC motor-homes are so much more. This is just beyond what my old, feeble mind can comprehend. Perhaps there are those far brighter than I who can attempt to explain.

That DO make a difference. Wonder what exactly determines a "full restoration?"

Anyway, it is a good looking coach. Might be worth a look-see. How much would it cost to buy and install a generator?

That is what the ad says! The deal of the Century!I never like Any of the colors people seem to use.And as far as how long it was sitting,It depends if it was out in atmosphere
or up on blocks inside in climate control like mine. More I get into it seems it had not
seen the light of day since 1995!

As has been said here before, it has 2007 tires on it. No generator, no macerator, dated fabric (although it is supposed to be brand new). To my knowledge, stored inside. Just high priced for what you're getting. IMHO

I forgot my disclaimer in the original post........

"I have no knowledge of the condition of this motor vehicle and therefore under no circumstances suggest or imply the said motor vehicle should be purchased by anyone reading this".........

now that out of the way, the missing generator would not be a problem if I was truly interested in this gmc........I have picked up 1990 and later onan and kohler generators for $500.00 and installed in gmc motorhomes........much better than a worn out original onan with expensive (cummins)replacement parts...........

There's one 170 miles west of that one in the Knoxville, TN area. Not much info in the ad and there's no telling whether the photos are current.

Old Airstreams aren't all that great, neither are newer ones. They are heavy, and If you think GMC's leak, Airstreams have a ton of seams that need maintenance or they leak. My Father in law just "Got Rid" of his. It smelled funny.

Stick,

I put a 6K Honda genset (or I should say JimB) in my GMC 9 years ago. No Maserator? I got the hydrolic maserator that Camping World has two years ago(lists for about $99 US). No moving parts to stop you up. Most of the coaches listed lately appear to be good buys, but should be looked over and inspected. No one is going to give them away.

What should it cost to put a generator in this coach?

Sorry - I see that has been answered several times. Thanks
