[GMCnet] Dinette Riser [message #195432] |

I am going to have to raise my dinette up (it is way too low). I have
the steel frame type of dinette that is bolted to the floor and I know
that I could just put a couple of 4x4's under the attachment points, but
that would be ugly.
Does anyone have a plan for building a riser to go under the dinette,
preferably one that adds a little storage.Terry Taylor 74 Eleganza SE

there is this
http://gmcmotorhome.info/beddwr.html#DINETTE
which came from Mr.C,
I also did this , and found it a big help for my 6' 3" size
and this
http://gmcmotorhome.info/projects.html#STORAGE
which has several examples, like this one , from Arch, with good detail
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/g3159-toolbox.html
good thing to do
I put in a drawer under each seat.

great job on this tool box, where and what do you use for a tire tool, Rob put one there as well,
It is great to just open the door and it is all right there to use. Thanks for the great design gentlemen.

Terry,
One of the more detailed dinette platforms -- but the owner is using two swivel chairs....

You might think about using' the space under the dinette for folding chair
stowage. Dave
