Well Gene, I guess next winter you and I can be posting them. Start planning. May tow the bug out there. You can take it for a spin.

It's a little early. The big RV show doesn't even start until next weekend. It runs from 1/19 to 1/27. There are other events going on right now, but not the RV "big tent event". Unfortunately, I won't be able to be there this year. Hope to join the Greggs there for at least part of the time next year.

Maybe it will be warmer next year....
Just heard from an SOB owner that is there.
26° last night high of 46° yesterday.
It has been warmer here in Michigan the last couple of days.

We started heading to Quartzsite on Dec 12th from WA. Had New Years
just outside of Yuma. Then heard that we had a death in the family and
had to make a speed run back to Northern California for the funeral
(made it by 5 minutes). We are still in NorCal, and Diana has been
really sick for two days. I think she just wants to head home. I'm
still opting for Qsite, but we shall see. Looks like it's going to
start warming up here in the West...

Dang, I have not heard the temps were so low out there. But, I am not looking at rv threads cuz will make me want to be there.
I sure hope it is nicer next winter when Carl and I get there. Normally t shirt temps every afternoon in Jan.
There is a nice couple that run a coffee shop across from the Gambler. I pay up ahead the first week because I know I will be broke by end of month and they keep pouring my morning coffee.
Every rver should plan to be there at least one January. We have had lots of West Coast GMCs there in the past. Have not heard about any gatherings this winter in Quartzsite.
Matt, my grass just now got nipped by cold temps. 20 degrees and no more mowing til March. Been really warm here til yesterday.

Gary, lets start planning for next January, when you get Diana home. We have a nice parking place down on mm 99, away from the hustle/bustle. You have been there. Flat, rocky, so less dust. 5 minutes and we are in town.

Matt,

It will be warmer next WEEK! That's just how the weather is around here. Next week's predictions are for 70 degree days with lows in the low 40s. We just got stuck in a "Canadian air-mass" for a few days. Look out, it's heading your way.

Wish I could be there with the bass and the Martin and the propane patio heater to blunder my way through the jams.

Finn wants to know if he shows up next year at Quartzsite, can have the steak that you promised to Clyde? Clyde died on Sept 11th and Finn says he is Clyde's replacement. He even looks like Clyde. Finn wants to know if steak deal applies to him.

Finn might even bring Laurie along since her schooling finishes this summer.

You talking to me? Well, you know my wife. She is always feeding wayward souls in our coach. We dont eat much steak but might while you are there. We will give you the steak and you can do with it as you please. Finn eats the steak, hey, it was your steak to do with as you saw fit.
So, lets be figuring how we can get a bunch of us out there next January. I am thinking we may head the coach that way from Branson. Still thinking about it. We will park with the amateur radio operators at mile marker 99, as always.
