I'm looking for a replacement retractor (with belt) for my front
passenger's seat, preferably black. This is the part that attaches
bolts to the floor on the outboard side of the seat. Anybody have on
they can part with, or know where I can pick one up?

Sean,

Google seat belts. You'll find many suppliers. I suspect yours were installed by a previous owner so hard to tell where they came from.

They will have what you need if nobody has a 40-yr-old belt to sell
you. :^)

I only have one, on the driver's seat, and it looks like OEM.

I've searched, and so far all of the retractable belts I can find are
designed to mount on the side of something, instead of on the floor
like the OEM retractor. Can anyone recommend a suitable aftermarket
retractor that mounts like the original?

Sean,
I have two sets, both the male end and female end retracts.
they came out of my 76 Palm Beach and they are green. The casing can be
painted but the belts are going to be green.

Sean,
Todays almost all seat belts are produced in 3 colors, black, grey and a tan or saddle color. The days when you had color matched seat belts is passed and modern colored belts are hard to obtain. If you're thinking of using 35+ year old belts then your take you safety in an unsafe direction. Seat belts deteriorate and rot from age and the sun. They may look OK but when put under a sudden load they can come apart launching you into and possibly thru that big GMC Front window.

I have change out any seatbelts that were in any of the coaches that I have owned and install shoulder belt systems. When I put the Honda seats in the front of the stretch I tried to find the matching belts so that everything would match. The men's malls wanted over $110 per seat for the belts out of the Honda Van. I went online and found a universal set in black complete with retractor and all accessories for $44 per seat new in the box, so the complete cost me $88 with free shipping.

As much as we would like to use original stuff you must think about safety on certain items.

I'm not looking for a 35+ year-old belt :)

I'm looking for a new belt assembly that is as close as possible to
the original, floor-mounted, retractable lap belts that were
originally installed in my coach, if such a thing exists.

LMC catalog, page 123. Seat belts for Chevy pick-ups. Don't know if they will work, but colors are blue, burgundy, gray, and tan.
