Adding to one of the responses on inverters. If you do not like the "12v automotive type outlets," (I hate them). You can install Anderson Power Poles. They can handle almost any Amperage that you may use in your coach. I carry and use 30 amp ones. Power cords can be changed over to power poles, and power poles outlets are available in many styles, to fit your needs. If you don't like the ones available, you can always roll your own outlets. I put 2 sets, rated at 30 amps in my passenger side armrest, in front of the ash tray. Looks like OEM, but much more capable.
The Amateur Radio community has been using them for years, especially in GO kits for emergency operations. They provide a common, easy obtained method for connecting 12v radios, without going crazy looking for radio specific cords, or power converters.
