Dang, you got me up early for this... I am guessing 8 inches. I got a pic of the cars and GMC covered. Wind is blowing. Temp is about 32 degrees. So, hoping it gets gone soon. I have no plans to get out too early. I do have the Vdub backed in so I can get out and have a little fun when I really get my eyes open. Need another cup or two of the black stuff first. May post ictures on the blog later today. Not nearly as bad as it could have been. Was 11 pm before it started sleeting here then the snow came about midnight.

Me and the kids(in their 20's) made 420 bucks in one day blowing and shoveling. But i was dead. gave the money to the kids,,,they've been praying for another big snow since,,,,LOL,,,,PL

I measured 7 inches on top of both cars. Got the vdub out and cruised town. Went over and checked on some grandkids. Not sure I can get the new car out, or want to.

We did not eveb get a dusting. Amazing what a hundred miles will do. took the GMC out for a ride to keep the batteries charged. Filled it up with gas. Dang that hurt. Did you get any Ice cream at the BBQ place. That was some good stuff. Thanks again for lunch. I will bring the coach down when I get a chance. It dont look near as good as yours though.

No ice cream today but, the neighbor felt sorry for me and brought me a bowl of snow cream. Have been batching it for almost a week here now.
You come back anytime, with or without the coach.

Jeeze. Is that all. I do not even get the John Deere out and clean the driveway unless we get over 8".

Finn is still disappointed. We only got a slight dusting. It didn't even cover all of the grass. He is still waiting to see what real snow is like to play in. We were hoping for some lake effect that never materialized. We did see one snow plow running around with his blade up. It was probably a union job and paid by the mile.

We went out and looked at a new house for Heather today and drove around looking at several others. The one we looked at was disappointing.

Post again when you get some real snow down there.

Hey dude, I never claimed that we had any "real snow" down here. I did not shovel the light dusting either. Used the vdub to pack it down good and was able to drive the new car right out and to work this morning. Teri is gone, I am in lazy mode here. A guy might have a heart attack shoveling snow, at 58 years of age. Not taking any chances.

I'm just getting even.

I heard they had around 10" around Blaine's area. I'll have to call him and see if he plowed the runway.

Did the UPS package with the coal in it arrive yet?
If not I'll have to send another one. Finding big pieces of coal is difficult these days. They grind it all up to almost powder these days before shipping. When I was a kid I could walk along the railroad tracks and find big pieces that fell off of steam locomotives coal tenders cars.

Have a happy New year.
