Very nice, John. It doesn't look like that here, but it's Christmassy, none the less. If I was dreaming of a white Christmas, I could drive about 30 miles up the mountain (Mt. Lemmon) and see all the snow I want.

I love the GMC image. I sent a copy to my wife and another GMCer who doesn't use GMCnet. We are hoping for snow. Unfortunately we just have a slight dusting

Sorry I tried something new, and it did not work for everyone the way I did it. I will try something else at a later date. Next time I'll make sure I actually enter the picture address.

Christmas (if that's your "thing) -- and the rest of us a Warm One!
I was beginning to think I wouldn't be able to send that greeting: The
telephone repairman just left after repairing the line taken down by our
neighbor's dead pine tree (about which I had warned him two weeks ago by
certified mail).

Glad my motorhome was out of the way before that tree you told me about
fell.
It was also warmer here yesterday than in Americus. What's up with that?

Byron,
RIGHT! That was my first thought when I saw it down. It was the one I
pointed out when we pulled there. It fell toward the street, hitting the
dogwood trees beside the drive. And it happened shortly after you left,
when the thunderstorm winds hit. It may have been only minutes.
Not only that, another, bigger, dead pine fell across our street between
here and US-19! I don't know exactly when that was, but probably during the
same storm.
You didn't know how dangerously you were living!
We were surprised that the neighbor, so reluctant to take the tree down,
came over that afternoon and cleared the drive -- sort of.
