Well, I took my first trip in the coach. We only went a few miles at a time in the Summer. This took me 200 miles from Nashville to Knoxville-up and over the Cumberland Plateau. I was amazed by how fun travel was. It was like looking out a big convex window. The coach didn't miss a beat, although it was doing some "I think I can" over the mountain. Chuck Boyd graciously agreed to have me over and we spent a couple of hours going over the coach. Who gives up a couple of hours of their Saturday so freely? Actually, he and his wife Cathy could not be more accomodating. My 10 year old son thinks it's "GMC Disneyworld" at their house. I got a good report and we began a plan of action going forward. I recommend getting his advice before buying a coach if you are in the area, but fortunately it was still a good report post-purchase. Some electical issues, the 4 barrel not engaging properly-look forward to some more juice-and the prospect of fixing a 74 model "leaker." He thankfully did give a thumbs up on the brakes which I had put some money into. Showed me how to properly adjust the ride height since it has schrader valves. Has he ever met a GMC coach he didn't like? Thank's again Chuck!
