Looking past the mold growing on the body, it could be made to be "interesting." I am not sure it would be interesting enough to justify the cost of restoration.
If I couldn't have a GMC, I'll rather sink the money into a Clark/Cortez <http://www.cortezcoach.com/> or even a flat nosed Revcon <http://www.aircraft-electrician.4t.com/photo3.html>

My other alternative would have been a Vixen.
I do appreciate the work that must have gone into the rather 'unique' designs that folks have managed to build. To each his own - beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

I remember several of those old hearse/ambulance conversions when I was camping with my parents as a kid. They always looked top heavy to me.
