I'm so sorry I have to report that Bill died peacefully at home yesterday after a short but rapid downhill spiral. We had signed up for Hospice on Tuesday and he died on Thursday. He will be cremated and we will have a memorial service in his beloved Unity Church, to be announced. I feel so blessed to have had 42 years with the love of my life. I had promised him I would never put him in a home, and I'm glad I was able to keep my promise. He was surrounded by our four pets, and looking out the picture window. I had planned to hire some home nurses and had an interview with one on Thursday. Just as he was taking his last breaths, the doorbell rang so I had a nurse (angel!) with me at his final gasp. I didn't have to go through the agony of watching him on oxygen, and the suction devices involved in his final stage pneumonia. It was his last gift to me. He hadn't communicated for several days and on Thursday morning when I woke him he opened those Baby Blue Eyes. I said "Good Morning, I love you!" and he said " I love you, too!" His obituary will be in the Brownsville Herald on Saturday. Blessings and Thank you for your prayers, Nana

Bill and Nana Naden were former GMCers from whom I bought my 23 ft X-Birch from back in March 2010. They were members of a GMC club in Illinois before they moved to Brownsville, TX.

Condolances can be sent to Nana at kendallnaden@yahoo.com

Thank you for sharing. I couldn't think of a more beautiful setting for being translated back to the realms of souls. Special thoughts of peace and love directed to those feeling the emptiness of his passing. This too shall come to pass. ~ Howard
