I've wondered about this a bit so I thought I'd ask what most folks do.

I've seen a coach or two where people remove their original propane tank and use the standard gas grill (BBQ) bottles that can be swapped out almost anywhere.

This seems like a really good solution because, on the road or campground, propane is spendy but swapping out gas bottles is quick and easy and I wouldn't have to drive my coach anywhere to get more propane. There are 5-6 places I can swap BBQ bottles within 5 miles but its a 20 mile drive to have my original tank filled. There are five Dollar Generals within 5 miles and they swap out the bottles for $20 each.

I know that you are not supposed to take a BBQ bottle through tunnels.

Just wondering what folks thoughts are on this?
