We moved from Santa Fe in mid-September right after our house there was finally sold.

The market is so bad there that we netted less than we bought it for in 1993.

We have a Frederick, CO address but we have a Longmont Zip Code and the Longmont post office delivers our mail.
Frederick is an old mining and agriculture small town on the east side of Interstate 25 but we are on the west side.

We are about 1-1/5 miles east of I-25 just south of Hwy 119 which runs along the south side of Longmont. We are closer to downtown Longmont than we are to Frederick.
Longmont has a population of 85,000 so there is a lot there.

We have a great view of the Rocky Mountains. The best part of the new house is that we finally have a motorhome garage! We also have a separate driveway to the motorhome garage with enough room to park a couple of GMCs. So anyone traveling up or down I-25 let us know. We are about 30 miles north of Denver.

G'day,

Helen and I were the first to partake of Emery and Michelle's hospitality at there new home. I GA-RON-TEE they will make you feel at
home!

Along with the hospitality it was great getting help with Double Trouble from a guy who has "been there, done that" on just about
everything you can imagine on a GMC!

It's a beautiful home but there is one there is one thing kinda weird about the place. A "baroque" (read tacky) statue of a man in
the yard put there by the previous owner. To keep it from being stolen he wired it to some metal stakes driven into the ground. IIRC
Emery said something about cutting the wires and crossing his fingers hoping that some local vandals would make off with it! ;-)

Regards,
Rob M.

I agree that its a bit of a weird statue. It is a 6' bronze statue of a greek goddess with wings holding up a cauldron in one hand. Not something that I would have bought and probably quite expensive since it is a bronze. I haven't gotten around to moving it yet but I may keep it and move it from the center of the back yard to a side corner. It does make a good conversation piece!.

We enjoyed having Rob & Helen stay with us for a while on their swing through this part of the USA.
