Google just rolled out a new communities feature on their Google+

Last year Richard Sowers set up a couple of hangouts using Google+ -- worked pretty well -- and might be a good way to address some technical hands-on items.

There isn't one, and that wasn't the intention. It's just a place
where Google+ users who happen to be GMC owners/enthusiasts can
converge, and perhaps another way to spread the word about GMCs to the
unwashed masses :)
