Well, I got this roll of LED lighting online about a year ago, and finally had time to install it, as planned, in the "gap" between my center duct and side ceiling panels. I lowered the ceiling to add the denim insulation batts, and put this gap in specifically for this purpose. It is made with steel studs so it was light, easy to install, made a nice ledge for the panels, and nice and reflective for lighting.

this cost less than $20.

This stuff is basically a roll of tape.

You can't read by it, but that isn't the point. It is connected to the Galley switch by the door.

I thought about using the multicolor with a wireless remote, maybe I'll add that for "mood lighting".
