For some unknown reason my holding tank wires are in the propane compartment on the front outside edge.
With the monitor panel on the red wire has 8 volts to ground or the black wire. For some reason the black wire has no continuity to ground.
Does anyone know how they work their way from the monitor panel to his strange location.
Where do I route them to make the gauge work?

If your 74 is like my 73, the wiring goes along the right side and the red wire to the holding tank goes through the floor Into a trough and exits just above the sending unit. The sending unit grounds to the frame about six inches from the sending unit.

You can almost see the ground wire in this photo ...
