Well, despite our early morning disappointment last week, the coach ran very well all the way to FL. 700 miles down and the only problem was some bad wear on the "curb" tire from a bad alignment. Had it fixed and the tire swapped out at Alex Sirum as my inlaws are only about 25 miles away.

Trip home was completely uneventful. 1400 miles on the coach. Lot of work for my wife to keep the kids entertained but we had a great week in FL and the drive, while long, was infinitely easier in the GMC.

We pulled the HHR and got some good use out of it down there, and through the first 1253 miles used 157 gallons of regular supposed 10% ethanol fuel. Average of 7.98 mpg which is pretty normal for us pulling the car through flat lands.

Will fill the tank completely in the next two weeks when I'm done winterizing. Next trip will probably be Dothan.

Thanks,
