Greetings:
While doing a little R&R on my rear shock brackets, I noticed that they do not appear to be “flat” on the mounting surface when held back to back:

I did notice that they did not seem to sit flat on the frame when I bought my GMC, but didn’t pay much attention to it at the time – Since then I have looked, on occasion, at other GMC’s to see how they sit – Some appear to be flat, others not.
So the questions I have are:
Anyone know how they might have gotten that way?
Anything to worry about?
Should I try to straighten them?
Or not worry about it, paint them up and put them back on!
