I've seen a great couch in a couple of GMC's that easily and quickly convert into a bed. I'd love to have one. Anybody know where this came from?

Bill,
If you finally find where this originated and where to get it, please post it. It is just what I'm looking for also.

What that looks like to me is the hardware from the rear of an early coach installed with a longer back part. Most 73/74 coaches came with two pairs. A lot have been removed in favor of a fixed bed. I suspect the stress/weight on this use is more than what it is designed for. Looks like it works though. (Be sure and anchor it well, that seems to be a weakness on my '73.)

ALSO: The end mechanisms look like "finger pinchers" to me.
