Clever. I can't imagine buying one, but it would be a whole lot of fun to play with. OTOH, with the floor of our coaches being so low, I'm sure there's no way in the world to mount one anyway, so I guess this makes one gadget I won't be tempted to buy!

The thing the video didn't have (other than high quality audio...) was a mention that it would make it VERY easy to change a flat. Heck, if you were good, you'd just stand up the spare tire/wheel and pivot the camper into it! Shocked

For those situations, I'd opt for a bigger bumper on the truck and a note
left on the windshield.

We saw the exact same type of parking assist, while stationed in Japan in the early 80's. Honda has a great festival where their engineers do wild things with their cars, or small motors.
One engineer rigged the spare tire, mounted under the trunk of an Accord sized car, to drop down, engage the pavement, and had an electric motor to spin the rear of the vehicle 360 degrees, pivoting on the front wheels. Nose into parking spot, drop wheel and spin. Parked on a dime, or at least Honda sized spot.
Time to vote.

Now that would work in my neighborhood. Of course, no one has a 52 Cadillac
around here. Still, interesting idea if you don't mind a hole in your trunk
on wet days.
