Hi, me again...
I bought this stuff ("super tech plumbing antifreeze") at Walmart
here in NS. It was on
sale & as usual I was in a hurry, saw the words "good to -50 degrees"
The label says it
contains ethanol and nothing beyond that, other than it's flammable
and made in Canada
which is a little surprising. Why they caution against using in copper
lines is not explained,
nor is there a website given on the label. I'm no chemist, but I don't
recall any reaction
between copper & ethanol mentioned before. Beats me!
