*Mr. ERFisher,*

*Could you post instructions for creating a PDF like the one posted, please?
- yes*

sorry I am late getting back to the party
- on travel with gson :>)

*I like it a lot. *
- thanks
- don't need no stink-en MACs (just had to get that in :>)
- no special software, or formatting
- PDF'S are the new direction, for smart devices
- not our doing (Mac's started it , but now we all use it)
- the new computing is PPPT, (pads, pods, phones, tablets)
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/data/3619/HAND-HELD_COMPUTERS.pdf

Our hidden network guy, guru, (Mumert), had it right.
- Just use what ever picture program you use
- print all the pictures you want (at one time - in the order you want)
- print to a printer driver (cutepdf)
http://download.cnet.com/CutePDF-Writer/3000-6675_4-10206470.html?tag=mncol;1#editorsreview

- and you have a pdf you can load to GMCphoto store (smaller than separate
pictures)

----------------------------------------------------------
*It works well if captions are not required.*

- to make an annotated presentation (like the one above on PPPT)
- use FREE SOFTWARE
- power point -- from MS office
-- from Google docs
http://www.google.com/drive/start/apps.html#product=slides

-- from Open Office
http://download.cnet.com/OpenOffice-org/3000-18483_4-10263109.html

then print the slides to the same
-cutepdf- driver
- single pdf file
- load to GMCphoto store
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/data/6179/Coolant_Recovery_a_tool1.pdf

let software down-loaders, load
--nothing-- but the application
- no helpers
- no checkers
- no tool bars
- just the facts mam

JWID
- no special software
- no funky computers
- no special skills
- just instant pdf's
- for seminars and GMCphoto store

GENE

Much better for moving back and forth through photos without having to
scroll the browser to see the bottom of EVERY SINGLE PHOTO, only to have to
scroll back up to get to the forward button to see the next one.

Gene,

The basics of your method are spot on. However, I, for one, don't care for
the shameless advertisement that gets attached via that driver saying
"Printed with FinePrint - purchase at www.fineprint.com". If you have a
Mac, the OS handles the task without an ad for anything or anybody.

Just my 2 cents.

I have no problem flipping through a slideshow on the photo site. The
problem is how the website handles the photos. So, your advice to do a
presentation and then print to PDF is wise. PDF via a webpage avoids an
issue with Flash or any method of handling other forms of media via the
web.

Byron

Hi

Five or six of the printer drivers I mentioned do not place a nag line on
their output files.

I personally use NitroPro 8 from Nitro, it is a paid package (about $120)
but they also have some free packages. I can't recall if they insert a nag
line.
http://legacy.nitropdf.com/free/

They have a free PDF reader that allows you to fill in form fields and
create PDF files, I don't think it appears as a printer, but I can't
remember for sure.

They also have a free PDF printer, primopdf, that may be worth checking out.

The Pro version will create a PDF from an image file and then save it to
Word, Excel or text. The OCR seems to do a good job.
