It was not specifically mentioned in the ad, but I bet this family has a
classic GMC out back with a KILLER glass dash. That footage is probably
on the cutting room floor, has to be.

Beautiful to see the way the technology is moving. Invent it here, and sell it everywhere.
Glass cockpit would be very nice, however, anything developed now would interface with the ORD II system, and not our ancient analog devices. Analog can be converted to digital and a pseudo-ORD could be created, but for the small GMC crowd, cost would be prohibitive.
Most glass displays do not work well in bright daylight. Of course, we are not limited by available battery storage constraints.
