To all,
I have a partially disassembled 74 23 ft I used for a parts coach to complete the restoration of my 73 23 ft Painted Desert. I have removed all the parts I needed. I still have the complete body, drive train, front and rear suspension minus the air bags and level valves located at the rear wheels. Interior was mostly gutted when I received the coach. P.O. was going to restore it but lost interest. Lots of the parts that were removed are in boxes and bagged up in plastic bags sitting in the coach. I would like to dispose of these parts and the coach soon. I will sell the parts very cheaply to get rid of them and possibly supply a needed part that is no longer in production to a fellow GMC owner. Private email or call me to find out if I have the part you need and the price.

to David in Dayton - Hmmm, I have a 1973 26er. Canyonlands. Since you
mention that most of the interior was already gone, this may be a dead end,
but I am looking for the fiberglass corners for the window sashes (white?).
I believe there are about 16 of them but I have appprox. 8 that are
broken. I would be interested in all that you have, just for back-ups if
not terribly expensive. I'm sure they are worth a few bucks apiece so I
will let you name the price. They are 90 degree sweeps that connect each of
the four sides of a window sash on the inside.
I could also use the marker lights if they are in good shape. Mine are
crumbling. they are a somewhat teardrop shape.

I. personally, would not install USED lights. JimK has NEW lights here: <http://www.appliedgmc.com/prod.itml/icOid/912>
BUT....
If you are replacing them, due to the work to do it correctly, I would spring for the extra cost of LED lights. Easier to maintain a good seal to keep water out of the interior and last MUCH longer.
Due to mounting in fiberglass (no ground at the mounting screws) You'll be best off finding lights with two wires rather than the more common single wire units. JimK has the correct ones:
<http://www.appliedgmc.com/prod.itml/icOid/911> I have found them on eBay for quite a bit cheaper, (~$9 each, just do not see any two wire ones listed right now) but still need good gaskets from JimK <http://www.appliedgmc.com/prod.itml/icOid/913>
If you are being cheap and wanting to just get by, you can normally clean up the old fixtures (bases) enough to work then reseal around them and install new lenses and gaskets. JimK also carries the lenses and gaskets. <http://www.appliedgmc.com/prod.itml/icOid/890> and <http://www.appliedgmc.com/prod.itml/icOid/914>
I did this last option on my '78 and posted pictures here: <http://m000035.blogspot.com/2011/05/clearance-lights-clean-and-new-lenses.html>
