We're on the road about halfway through a 25 day trip through Utah and Arizona. Currently about 40 miles north of Phoenix and the toilet has developed a serious leak.

I'd like to shut off the water to the toilet and just "flush" it with a pitcher of water until I can get home and deal with it but there doesn't seem to be any kind of shut-off valve. Is that right or am I looking in the wrong place?

That is right. You'll have to come up with a cap for it.

if this is an original toliet.. well then disregard... i have zero experience...

my coach is a wet bath.. but i dont remeber seeing a shutoff valve
under the sink (i am at work right now so can not check), but if you
unhook the water from behind the toilet you should be able to "add" a
shutoff valve or cap.. available at any hardware store..

Interesting. I assumed all coaches had a shutoff on the toilet because our 74 does. I guess that is not the case. All of our copper water lines were replaced with a plastic type by the guy who resurrected our coach from the chicken yard, down in Texas.
Glad he put the shut off there as we have used it. Then, I replaced the old toilet with the china bowl type. One of the best upgrades I have done to our old coach. Very Happy
