Yes, I would say the GMC should still hold the Class A record, as well as the GMC is gas powered, whereas the Mercedes was a Diesel (Supercharged, I believe!) Apples and Oranges, don't ya know!!

I'm not sure there is a class distinction for motorhomes. Dyno Sources
reclaimed it from a slicked out Tioga a few years ago. It was a class C.

does it really even have a toilet?
Maybe I could stick a compost toilet in a Corvette and call it a motorhome.

I feel if I had my killer Cad engine in my coach and a little different final drive,I could easily break that record. They even featured it again on Horsepower Tv this last weekend. The Mondello build a few months back even after all Joes tricks it still did not even come close to the numbers the Cad proper did basically stock at 8-1 compression.Don't misunderstand me I feel the Olds is supported all over compared to the Cad proper so mine will stay as is 455.

I don't know if it ever had a toilet as it was built from a transmodal coach.
